Applying to Queen Mary
Queen Mary has a very diverse body of students and we welcome applicants from a broad range of backgrounds. All applications, including those from international and mature students, should be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). To begin this online process visit their website at: http://www.ucas.com/ [new window]. The institution code for Queen Mary, University of London is Q50.
If your application meets our entry requirements you will be invited to attend one of our UCAS days. Here you will take a tour of the campus, learn more about studying English at Queen Mary, and undergo a short interview. In the interview a member of the academic staff will ask you about your previous work in English, your current interests in the subject, and your future plans. There will also be an opportunity for you to raise any questions that you have about life and study in the Department.
Should your interview be successful, you will be sent (via UCAS) a formal written offer, normally of around 360 points.
Please visit the main college website for further details about the application process in general [new window].
