Cornelia Cook's work on the theological foundations of the poetry of TS Eliot reflects the School's commitment to the founding figures of literary modernity. Other aspects of her research could be grouped under the broad categories of nineteenth- and twentieth-century literature and rhetorical strategies in Biblical writing.
